A 6 month program to reset you emotional system and build a sustainable emotional fitness practice for life.

Just like physical fitness, emotional fitness is a lifelong practice that requires consistent effort and effective techniques. Working with our structured, 3-pronged support team, our program helps members integrate the Emotional Updating technique and key emotional fitness practices into a 15-minute daily routine.

Before beginning any journey, you must first understand where you’re going and why.

That’s why everyone starts off with a self-assessment questionnaire and an in-depth primer on our approach to cultivating Emotional Fitness.

Both of these key activities help ground your understanding to bring clarity and purpose to your emotional fitness practice.

ONBOARDING: Lay the foundation

PHASE 1: Build up a habitual practice

To build a habit that sticks, you have to begin with intensive consistency.

You’ll start the first 13 weeks working closely with our 3-pronged support team to establish the core components of a sustainable emotional fitness routine.

You’ll work with Dr. Hercules, your Emotional Fitness Coach, who will introduce the fundamentals of the Emotional Updating technique and guide your emotional growth progress with intermittent check-ins and weekly group Q&As.

These sessions will be supported with additional training sessions in the Updating technique with our trained Facilitators, as well as weekly check-ins with your dedicated Habit Coach who will help you integrate the emotional fitness routine into your daily life.

A daily practice is only as good as your ability to stay the course.

We dedicate the last 13 weeks to transitioning you to an independent practice where you will put your routine to the test, with intermittent support sessions to help fine-tune your process.

By the end of this phase you will have fully integrated key emotional fitness practices into your daily life, made meaningful progress on the core issues you set out to address, and have the skills and confidence to continue your growth journey on your own terms.

  • Emotional Fitness Coaching at Vivir is delivered through 45-minute sessions by our Emotional Fitness Coaches—certified emotional wellness experts dedicated to guiding clients through their emotional fitness journey. They help you understand and address emotional challenges, set meaningful goals, and identify areas for growth in your emotional fitness practice.

    Currently, all Emotional Fitness Coaching is provided by Vivir’s founder, Dr. Peter Hercules. With decades of experience, Dr. Hercules brings unmatched expertise and a compassionate approach to support your emotional well-being. In the future, we plan to expand this role to include additional Emotional Fitness Coaches, trained to deliver the same high level of care and guidance.

  • Emotional Updating training at Vivir is conducted through 50-minute sessions by our dedicated Emotional Updating Facilitators. These practitioners are highly trained in guiding clients through the Emotional Updating technique with expertise and care. They offer a calming, supportive presence to help you navigate the training process step by step.

    Your Emotional Fitness Coach will introduce you to the fundamentals of Emotional Updating during your initial sessions. From there, the Emotional Updating Facilitators take the lead in your training, ensuring you gain the skills and confidence needed for independent practice using the Emotional Updating App.

    Their goal is to provide personalized guidance and support, empowering you to make the most of the Emotional Updating process as part of your emotional fitness journey.

  • At Vivir, Habit Coaching is provided through 30-minute sessions by dedicated Habit Coaches who specialize in helping you establish and maintain the daily routines critical to your emotional fitness journey. From the start of the program, your Habit Coach works closely with you to create a personalized plan, offering practical guidance, encouragement, and accountability.

    Trained specifically in Vivir’s approach to habit formation, Habit Coaches ensure that you build sustainable practices, stay aligned with your goals, and develop the consistency needed for lasting success. Their role is to be your partner in building the foundation for a strong and effective emotional fitness routine.

  • Before your first session, you’ll review the Emotional Fitness 101 content and complete a self-assessment questionnaire, both available in the member access hub. These preparatory steps help ensure you and your coach are aligned as you begin your journey.

    In your first Emotional Fitness Coaching sessions, your Emotional Fitness Coach will review the nature of your challenges and work with you to set clear objectives for your emotional fitness journey. They will clarify the concepts and process behind the Emotional Updating method as needed, and once you’re comfortable with the approach, you’ll begin practicing the Emotional Updating technique to address the changes you want to make.

    As you progress, you’ll transition to working with Emotional Updating Facilitators for focused training in the Emotional Updating technique, while continuing to collaborate with your Emotional Fitness Coach on deeper emotional challenges and overall growth.

    In your initial Habit Coaching sessions, your Habit Coach will help you establish a preliminary plan for creating a consistent emotional fitness routine. Together, you’ll set realistic goals, working toward building a sustainable 15-minute daily practice over time.

  • Upon completing the 6-Month Emotional Fitness Training Program, you’ll have the skills, routines, and confidence needed to continue your emotional fitness practice independently.

    What’s Next:

    • Maintenance Program: Once you’ve completed the core, you have the option to continue your membership with the Maintenance Program that includes ongoing access to the app and the weekly Q&A Sessions with Dr. Hercules. These are available in monthly, 6-month, or yearly billing cycles.

    • A La Carte Support: For those seeking additional support, we also offer the option to book one-off appointments for Emotional Fitness Coaching, Habit Coaching, and Emotional Updating Facilitator sessions.

    Our goal is to empower you for lasting emotional fitness while providing flexible support options to meet your needs.

  • At Vivir, our membership program is central to achieving the results we promise. This is why using the app or booking individual sessions outside the structure of the program is not an option.

Without this foundation, the tools alone wouldn’t deliver the meaningful, lasting outcomes our program is built to provide.
