Webinar: An Introduction to Emotional Fitness

More attention is being paid to mental health than ever before, yet the emotional health crisis keeps getting worse. We’ve learned to name our patterns and diagnoses, but rarely resolve them at the root.

Vivir’s perspective starts with a simple idea: our feelings make sense.

Once we understand the logic of our emotional systems, we can learn to untrigger ourselves instead of just finding better ways to cope with distress.

In this 90-minute presentation, Vivir founder Dr. Peter Hercules, M.D., introduces the key insights behind this approach to Emotional Fitness.

Dr. Hercules will cover:

  • Why emotional distress is so widespread, and the role triggered responses play in it.

  • Why self-worth sits at the center of emotional wellbeing and shapes our emotional foundation.

  • The specific kind of work it takes to build and keep emotional fitness in a world we don't control and that constantly provokes us.

You'll leave with a clear understanding of how emotional fitness works. Like any fitness, it's a skill set that can be learned, and with the right skills, we can learn to change ourselves.
